Room description
We have a big house for you to share. Lovely garden space with trees and a BBQ area.
International couples especially welcome. If you are travelling around NZ come and stay with us for the summer. Christchurch is the central place to stay and use as a base for trips around the whole South Island, also easier to find work in the city.
There is 1 room available, bright and sunny, fully furnished, and all linen provided.
We have an open plan kitchen and dining room, a separate lounge and plenty of cosy seating spaces to relax in.
The house is a 2 minute walk away from a shopping centre, with a gym, supermarket, library, and a 10 minute drive to a larger shopping mall with everything you need.
Catch a bus into the centre of the city, from the shopping centre -2 minutes away, or the Orbiter Bus which circles the city - just around the corner from our house.
We are close to a pool complex, a sports centre, the Port Hills, river walks, and beautiful parks. Also walking distance to the central city and Hagley Park.
I have been hosting people from overseas for many years and am happy to share travel maps, books and suggestions of fabulous places to visit around Christchurch, Canterbury, the whole South Island and North Island too.
We are looking for people who have a zest for life, are house trained, respectful of others and have a story to tell.
