Room description
We are a friendly and respectful couple renting out a large double bedroom of our place in Somerfield, Christchurch. We both work on weekday, enjoy doing house chores, gardening and cooking on weekend. Sometimes we love to have a wee drive out of town for 1-2 day trip.
The room is furnished, including a double bed (with mattress protector and fitted sheet), bedside drawer, built-in wardrobe, a table and a chair. The tenant just needs to prepare own pillow and blanket. Shared bathroom, toilet, kitchen, pantry, fridge and washing machine with us. The house is 5-10 minutes drive from the city centre and is close to Barrington mall, where the tenant could easily access to the supermarket and a number of shops and eateries. Bus stop is 1 minute walking, there are buses going to city centre.
The rent for the room is $210/week, inclusive of Internet, gas, and electricity. 2 weeks bond of $420. The communal areas will be cleaned by 2 of us every week. The tenant just need to clean their own room.
We are looking for a respectful, clean, tidy and non-smoking tenant. No pet is allowed.
